Our experimental performance testing results show that the large forum system is a high performance distributed system with low network overhead cost. The forum servers can be settled in anywhere as long as a broadband network connection to Internet is provided. With the secure group communication protocol and fault tolerance design, the new distribution framework provides a robust and high performance distributed architecture for the large course forum system. Therefore the workload of the course forums can be shared by a group of the servers. The forum servers collaborating with each other constitute the whole forum system.

In the distributed architectural design, each forum server is full equipped with ability to support some course forums independently. Thank you to those who attended the Course Forum, we hope it was a useful insight into the challenges the agronomy team have had to overcome this challenging winter and spring so far.We propose a novel data distribution framework for developing a large Web-based course forum system. Plans for spring and summer are to complete the 8 th greenside bunker when access permits, continue with clearing the drainage system we have and ensure it functions correctly, continue conditioning the course and improve the shoe cleaning area with the addition of another shoe cleaner. It was also mentioned that his team completed several projects such as reconditioning the benches, tidying up the driveway, bunker improvements, beginning to tackle the long rough, bunker construction, ecology work, Woodland Clearance, Tree Planting and Aeration progress. It was mentioned how Windlesham have invested heavily in replacing the machinery fleet with more suitable equipment to continue to develop the course in every way. He then spoke about some challenges that the team had faced since December with snowfall, excessive rain and grass growth differences. The presentation started with Leigh showing some slides of the Course in its full glory and what to expect once the weather finally turns into a more positive Spring. It was also announced that all of the staff have been undertaking Customer Service Training from an industry leader with proven success, Eddie Bullock, in order to improve our members and visitors experience. The Course Forum began with Neil welcoming the membership and relaying Windlesham Golf Club’s vision is “ To Deliver Continuous Improvement In Our Desire For Obsessive Perfection”.
